Wooden Access Panel Doors
Home access panels conceal plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, wires, cables and anything else you want to hide but need to keep within reach. Our wood access panel doors and frames provide an attractive cover that turns these utility points into decorative home fixtures. They are made in the USA and built to last using quality materials.
Custom Framed Access Panels Made From Solid Wood
Our wood access panel door and frame combinations feature solid pine frames and solid maple doors. Their solid wood construction makes them more durable than panel doors made from plastic or particleboard and much nicer looking than those made from aluminum or steel.
These decorative access panel covers are something anyone can install. The frame is lightweight, and you can screw it directly into your drywall. Mount the door to the frame with the included hinges, and you’re all set. They arrive unfinished and ready to accept your choice of paint or stain.
What Sizes Do Access Panels Come In?
We manufacture wood access panels in multiple base sizes to cover all the most common access points. Our base sizes include panels made to fit openings 18, 24, 30, 36, 42 and 48 inches high. If you need yours made in dimensions other than what you see listed, we can build a custom access panel in the height and width you need.
How Big of an Access Panel Do I Need?
Determining the right size for your access panel door is simple, and we’ll give you all the tools you need to succeed. Measure the height and width of the opening and write these numbers down.
Height
The wood access panel door and frame that you order will need to have 6 inches more in both height and width for a proper fit. For example, an opening 24 inches high by 12 inches wide requires an access panel 30 inches tall by 18 inches wide.
Width
If your opening measures wider than 14.5 inches, we offer a double door option. Our double-door sets are made for bigger spaces and mount in the same way as single-door options to provide fast setup regardless of panel size.
The Benefits of Installing a Wood Access Panel Door
Whether you already have a hole cut into your drywall or you’re putting a new access point in, adding one of our wood panel doors offers several advantages. These products keep what’s behind them protected from damage, free from dust and safe from curious hands. On the outside, they do even more by providing a warm, cozy and luxurious touch to any room.
